About Us
Since 2006, Eagling’s Southern Building Surveying has supported clients in achieving compliant, high-quality building outcomes. Led by Kim Eagling, the practice is known for its integrity and owner-focused approach. As an independent building surveyor, Kim acts in the best interests of the owner at all times.
We work in strict accordance with the Building Code of Australia (BCA) – the cornerstone of building compliance – which sets out minimum construction standards, including a 50-year serviceability requirement.
Our goal is not just to assess but to inform and anticipate. We promptly alert both the builder and the client to any concerns, and we aim to identify potential issues early – before they become costly. For example, at a framing inspection, we also assess wet area setup, external levels, condensation controls, drainage, and sub-floor ventilation.
Each inspection is supported by current checklists and detailed photo and video documentation.
We’ve been conducting wet area inspections for over five years – a now-mandatory step in the building process. Our experience in this specialised area ensures that your project meets all compliance standards with confidence.
